100 Homes Jacksonville is a collaborative and community-wide effort to end the homelessness of Jacksonvilles most vulnerable citizens. This initiative is part of the 100,000 Homes Campaign, a national effort to house 100,000 of the nations most at-risk homeless citizens by 2013. So far over 47,762 people have found permanent housing nationwide.
Jacksonville joined the campaign in 2011, to provide 100 of the community's most vulnerable homeless persons with Permanent Supportive Housing-affordable housing linked with the supportive services necessary to ensure a successful transition from the streets. 100 Homes Jacksonville relies on strong partnerships, existing community resources, and innovative new tools to provide solutions to homelessness.
